Promoting, fostering and improving the versatile hunting dog breeds.

ABOUT US

The Delaware Valley Chapter of the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) is dedicated to promoting, fostering and improving the versatile hunting dog breeds in the New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania areas. The Delaware Valley Chapter holds numerous training clinics throughout the year. In addition, the chapter hosts NAVHDA sanctioned Natural Ability, Utility Preparatory and Utility Tests, as well as other social events that are of interest to our membership.

The Delaware Valley membership is made up of a mix of experienced and novice handlers; who by working together, strive to improve the hunting skills of their dogs. The chapter operates under the premise that we will help you train your dog, if you will help us train our dog. This cooperative spirit has existed since the chapter's inception in 1983.

If this brief introduction sounds like something you might be interested in, please visit our Chapter Contacts area to make arrangements to visit us at one of our events or to request additional information about the chapter. Also check out our new member packet.
